This year honoring Florida Memorial University, accepting donations for the Florida Memorial Bahamas Relief fund-featuring Brenda Alford on vocals, Jesse Jones, Jr. on saxophone/vocals, Brian Murphy on piano, Kai Sanchez on bass, and Lenny Steinberg on drums with music from Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley and other jazz classics.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2020– BRENDA ALFORD AND FRIENDS- Our **Student Empowerment Tour throughout South Miami-Dade continues with a spirit-filled Jazz Concert conveying uplifting messages at Cutler Bay Middle School with world renown jazz musicians: Miami’s own Jesse Jones, Jr, on saxophone, Venezuelan pianist Antulio Mora, Canadian bassist Paul Shewchuk, and veteran drummer Lenny Steinberg!
TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2020– BRENDA ALFORD AND FRIENDS- Our **Student Empowerment Tour throughout South Miami-Dade continues with a pre-testing Pep Rally at Pine Lake Elementary School to prep the student with great messages through great jazz!
**The Student Empowerment Tour is a series of jazz concerts featuring jazz band, Brenda Alford and Friends. The concerts consist of Jazz music selected and created with uplifting messages for students from kindergarten through 12th grades, especially during standardized testing season. It is funded through a grant from the Sunshine Jazz Organization, the oldest Jazz Advocacy organization in South Florida.
